MALLORCA MAGIC

With that itch for continuous sun (and instagram content) after my stunning trip to Greece, my boyfriend and I decided to fly off to Mallorca, staying in one of the most amazing places we have been, Illetes. Having traveled there last year (and my boyfriend being a regular) we knew exactly where we wanted to go, what we wanted to do and most importantly, eat!

The first time I went there I fell in love with the Bugambilia Beach, it was so secluded, the sand was pure, the sea a transparent blue/green, it was small but perfect. Best of all though there was this incredible, little white wooden restaurant perched on the side of the beach, basically hanging in the sea. This place was so picturesque that it I had been dreaming about it ever since. So its no surprise that I ended up eating there three times last week! Im sure it would of been more if I had my way but my boyfriend put a ban on it!

The squid is incredible at Bugambilia Restaurant! And probably the least Spanish thing to order (but I did at every meal) the croquettes, oh my, delicious! At dinner for mains they also do a half squid, half prawns which is real good! The staff are also so lovely and polite which is really important, they always go out of their way to give you the best table possible. The owner is also getting married there next year which I can imagine will be stunning! How amazing to have somewhere like that in the family!

Another great beach in Illetes is situated just past the Calanova Port on Avinguda de Joan Miró road. A super super tiny little space of sand and clear blue sea, which I think is used mostly by the locals.

On the Saturday I had that Zara itch, so we jumped into a cab 15 minutes down the road to Palma, the main town. Full of all the high-street necessities, Zara, Mango, Uterque, we shopped for hours, stopping off in random places for tapas and wine. It was on this trip that I bought that Zara boho style dress, navy with red embroidery, so chic!

Dinner-wise there are so many places to choose from, we always start at the square for a couple of drinks then make a move from there. Its the perfect place to sit, enjoy the sun and people watch!

La Bóveda is definitely my favourite restaurant there! The tapsa is soooo delicious, and the view for people watching is great, just make sure you book for a table at the front. Afterwards head to Bar Abaco for cocktails, amazing deco!

One other thing that we loved doing was heading down to the port and looking at all the insane yachts. They are huge and so surreal, its amazing just to see how lavish some people can be. Theres also the Calanova restaurant on that port, which serves an incredible black paella!

Now to the important stuff, clothes. I was probably the happiest I have ever been with my holiday wardrobe this trip! I have strategically packed two outfits for each day, some overlapping, all very chic. It started with my traveling airport (Im always one for comfort, but something came over me and I became all sassy all of sudden,) wearing my Title A skirt from The Outnet, a tied up Whistles tshirt and my new Gucci loafers. Accessorized with my Gucci bag and lashing of tasseled bracelets, I was ready to shop the designers in duty free!

Throughout the week I wore alot of ruffled dresses, my favourites obviously being the Realisation Par red tea dress an Majorelle blue chiffon number from Revolve. I had my eye on it since I saw a couple of the Revolve girls wearing it in the Hamptons recently and I knew I needed it!

My pool attire consisted of sport inspired, block coloured swimsuits. One white, red and black, I had it all covered. I also felt super sexy in them, and they give you that space to play even more with accessories, mine mainly being bold bracelets and layers of dainty rose gold necklaces.
