I recently have been thinking, with the sun out and all, should I throw a little my old style back in? Is it a huge waste to completely get rid of that minimal style I loved so much. Well, when this Mango dress came to light, it answered all those questions.

A mix between simplicity and playfulness with the cream linen material and creative cut. The sleeves are large and airy, while the dress skims the body to just below the knees. Its a dress that can be worn for a million different occasions, in a trillion different ways.

Here I’ve sassed it up a little by undoing all the buttons and pulling it off one shoulder. WARNING, for this styling you cant wear a bra, and you may need tit-tape! Teamed with flats like my Miu Miu’s, it’s the perfect after work drinks look, or a weekend brunching with friends in the sunshine (the fabrics perfect for hotter weather!)

I can also see this being the perfect dress for Christenings, smart enough for a day time occasion where there will be lots of photos, classic enough it will be chic in whatever era its viewed.

I think it looks best with flats, because of the relaxed fabric. So think of interesting mules and slides to wear with it and less heels. However if you want to go there, go chunky. Also maybe play around with accessories for a night out, like the red Mango earrings I wore in the Red & Pink post.
