Fashion week comes twice a year, and every time is near theres a frantic flutter of fashionistas running around trying to get their hands on the latest show stopper outfit. Well I’m sick of it. Not fashion week. Well I dont think. I love the shows, the buzz, the pretty faces, steamed garments, its the people who wear those garish pieces, the ones with fairy lights wrapped around them complimented by a necklace made out of pencils, (yes I actually saw that last season).
I want the realist. The people who I can dress like. The girls with their flats rolled up in their pockets so they can change as soon as the wine finishes. Fashion hard goes that don’t try.
That’s why this season I didn’t really try. I wanted to be me, comfy, with a little sass. But 100% real.
WHO AM I
I’m too people, I love a dress. Midi dresses and maxi dresses, they’re my go to in warmer weather. And then I’m also a jeans and tee girl. I love being comfy, but then I love putting on a heel with a super basic boyish look. I love things that are man-repealing, but kind of sexy in that effortless French way. I love it when people say ‘Oh I didn’t realise you were that short because you always wear things I didn’t think I could.’ YES YOU CAN.
