CORDUROY

A material come back can change everything, you see it once on the runway 6 months ago, then more recently on a few ‘in the no’ers’, followed by ‘influencers’, magazines, and then, in every single store on the high-street. It’s taken over the world, one velvety line at a time. Corduroy is here, and it will be for the next 4 months, at least. So with a trend that will keep you soft and warm, while giving you that arse that make it look like you live for squats, YES THEY ACTUALLY DO! I think it’s time to give in, get the cords hun.

I love a winter suit, particularly a girl in a suit. It screams power, and has a certain chicness to it. Think Diane Keaton as Annie Hall, high-waisted, belted, shirts, tonal. Basically it bloody cool. My Hall inspo suit from H&M (the one I’m wearing in the pictures) is an absolute Winter dream. A suit I plan on pulling out for Christmas drinks, maybe with a black sheer or lace top underneath? Metallic or glitter heels? I love the idea or the complete contrast, and it ensures that I’m Christmas season appropriate but the oversized suits keep me secure and underdressed. Note : the suit comes up big, I went down to a UK 6 from an 8.
