I wore my short teddy coat to death last winter. It was my saviour, I’m always cold, I love layers, and I love anything super oversized. Last years wonder was a sale find from Warehouse which I bought in a size 14. Yes 14. I’m a uk8 but am a firm believer in trying on a variation of sizes to get the right one for you. And by going up 3 sizes, it gave the highstreet steal a more ‘Acne’ look, for less than £100.
This winter, the teddy coat is back in and in full swing. Maybe the legnt is longer, and the shade a little darker, but it’s back and every brand has their own version. To make it easier I’ve selected my top 5 to make the desioin a little easier.
Size-wise, if you’re anything like me and love oversized, if the fabric looks soft, and its more deconstructed, I would go up. But if the shapes a little tailored and you like that more classic fitted style, stick to your size.
