ADIDAS BY STELLA MCCARTNEY

It’s no secret that I’m a recent fan of keeping a heathy and balanced lifestyle. I like to go out and enjoy myself with my pals, but I also need those couple of hours a week to work out, my time for me, to think about life and completely destress in the form of punching a bag with all the power I have. Exercise really is the most powerful tool for the mind, and as I’ve got more into it, I’ve realised I seem to be wearing the same black sports bra and cropped leggings 2/3 times a week.

Work out clothes are super important, I need items which are going to be comfortable to work out it, flattering and not completely overpriced. Have you noticed how expensive sportswear is recently?! Also the reason by I probably wear the same look every-time is because those pieces make me feel good, they compliment my shape and make me feel confident while working out – sooooo important.

ADIDAS BY STELLA MCCARTNEY

Last week I was lucky enough to try out the new Adidas By Stella McCartney collection while working out at West London’s fitness hotspot, KXU. The Adidas By Stella McCartney collection is a refreshing range of colour, basics and in a variety of flattering shapes. The point of obsession probably started with the red shorts, I had been after a pair recently with the sudden warmer weather, and to my complete surprise, they fitted perfectly. A large waist band which pulls in my problem area, with shorts which are still short on me and not to the knees, plus they have little legging like shorts also built in so theres no embarrassment when getting your squats in. Note that although I’m an 8, I went for smalls in everything. I did try a xs in some leggings but they were not going past my knees! So if you’re in-between or like me a little curvy, go up. And of course all black is chic, but theres something about being brave enough to wear colour while working out which just portrays a sense of confidence. And something that I am making a conscious effort to push myself into.

MY LOOK

Also note the price range, with tops starting at £40 and bottoms at £45, this is a breath of fresh air! Plus their stocked at Matches, my favourite online shopping destination, and if they stock it, I trust it.

I have a few trips coming up next month and they’re the type of destinations where you’d want to go for long walks, runs, do a little yoga against a beautiful back ground, and I’ll be packing some of my new Stella pieces to keep me looking stylish in all circumstances. I refuse to be that chick in old work out gear now I’ve tried these, I’ve completely bought into the new collection and have my eye on so many other bits.
