The myths of not mixing metals has floated far away into the distance, making way for a new wave of eclectic jewellery mixing. A new free spirited vibe celebrating the fastly growing times of individualism. Links Of London is one that have really ran with this idea, creating a new collection which encourages the mixture of metals with their Yellow Gold Vermeil and Black Rhodium jewellery from the Ovals Collection.
This collection of hoops, rings, studs, necklaces, all work together or simply on their own. Powerful pieces in feminine designs.
For pieces like this I love a layering effect with super simple outfits. Lots of layered friendship bracelets or a Yellow Gold Vermeil and Black Rhodium ring on almost every finger. Plain jeans and a tee, screams for something that can pull in the eye, and these pieces of jewellery are pretty strong in their design.
However if worn with one of my dresses, I’d more likely go for one or two stand out pieces like the Yellow Gold Vermeil hoop earrings and cuff. Like I said layering is great but these pieces are so powerful yet feminine, if you wanted a more relaxed look they would still have a good impact signally.
Should probably quickly wrap this one up by saying theres a competition Links Of London are running which gives you the chance of winning a piece from the Ovals collection! Click HERE to find out how to enter.
