I love a satin dress, after falling in love with a Bec & Bridge one two years ago I’ve never looked back. However, having filled my wardrobe with bias cut wonders, I’ve been yearning for a slightly newer style, something that feels the same but isn’t. Well the answer is Deitas.
A silk dress with long sleeves and an ankle grazing lenght making this AW appropriate. At this time of year I start to go off summer-wear and start looking at how I can invest in transeasonal pieces, and this dress has me excited. Lucky enough to find one in the Net-A-Porter sale, I woke up super early on Friday morning (having just got back from Copenhagen Fashion Week) not even with it being a size too big could stop me from taking the last frame of my film camera. This week I’m planning on taking it to the tailors (click here for all the details) to take it in on the waist and up on the hem.
Planning on teaming with all the strappy kitten heels I invested in this summer, and then with knee high boots on colder days. It might even be combined with an oversized knit and trainers if I feeling sassy one casual day.
