CHIC BUT COSY CLOTHES YOU CAN ACTUALLY WEAR HOME THIS WINTER

When it comes to the holiday season, we all want a few new items to throw into our suitcases, ready to head home for the week. We want that perfect look to throw on for the random pub nights, girlie catch up’s and dinner after dinner. I mean even if I’m just siting at home watching a Christmas film, I still want to look good! That’s when the chic but cosy looks come in, clothes you can actually wear, yes, effortless looks that make you feel like you’re in your comfies.

So below is an edit of day to night, less is more, chic not try hard (all the fashion puns) pieces that are worthy of packing to head home in. The best of the best in cool casual via Net-A-Porter. Looks that will last, and wow that girl you have seen since year 11 – que the drunk toilet chats.

Currently one of my favourite looks. After previously saying I was a strictly blue jean only girl, I then found these beauties and haven’t taken them off since.

Drinks with the girls has never looks so polished. This jacket/shirt is a piece that you will wear over and over again, styled 100 different ways. I love the shape, so so flattering!

A hat like this has been on my raider for a very long time, and teamed like this its chic factor has just risen. Breakfast/brunch/lunch attire, teamed with an oversized coat.

Going out? Family gathering then straight out to meet the girls? Sassy doesn’t need to be skimpy, and if you’re anything like me I actually think that being a little more covered looks super effortless and a lot sexier. I mean, those leathers!

Another look suitable for both family and friends, plus, you always need a good tartan shirt at this time of year. This version from Loewe plays on the patchwork trend and wins.

French girl inspired – I saw this uber chic girl in Paris like 2 years ago, with a plain tee on and combat trousers, WHAT A DREAM. Also most of my plain tee’s (long and short sleeved) are by James Perse, they’re the best! And they last.

Tie dye is still big and what better way to pair it than with a pair of classic DM’s. Also note these Re/Done jeans are the stretchy version of the ones I’m wearing. I prefer a stiffer denim but these ones mould better to your body and are a little more flattering.
