Last week I set myself the challenge of styling that vibrant orange jumper differently for each day of the working week. Not only to prove how versatile a jumper can be, but also to show how well orange can work into a neutral wardrobe.
The jumper itself is from Lou Lou Studio, and new piece from Chloe’s second collection full of chic wardrobe staples to nail that effortless French vibe.
Throughout the week I tried to create completely different looks to show how well the jumper can adapt. From the midi skirt, to track pants, to tailored pants and then finally with the SS20 must have Bermuda short. Now looking back at the week, I have to say that I loved the tailored trousers combo the most. There was just something about the combination (maybe it had something to do with the accessories too) which made me feel very The Row-esq; Effortless, chic, timeless, and very cool. A combo I strive towards. Although I did feel incredible in what I wore each day to be honest. Wearing a jumper like this felt like it was giving me my daily dose of vitamin C, lifting my mood and setting me up for the day. I think it’s super important to still get dressed up while at home to keep you motivated, and what better way to do it than in a jumper which oozes pure sunshine.
I might now even consider orange as a neutral.
